Following the regular Ayurvedic treatment schedule, we will proceed to the Cave Temple of Dambulla which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world.
On completion of your visit , you will then have an opportunity to climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
It has been pronounced the Eighth wonder of the world. This ‘citadel in the sky’ is a World Heritage site & a great attraction. Its gardens and terraces are laid out with water gardens & fountains, and boulder gardens. There are cave dwellings, magnificent fresco paintings of the world famous Ladies of Sigiriya, the Mirror wall, The "Gigantic Lions" paws, the ruins of the palace and the royal bath.
In the afternoon, an elephant back safari or horse riding can be arranged on request.
