Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met at the airport and then transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to your Hotel in Negombo. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Negombo.
After an early breakfast, travel to Sri Lanka’s ‘Cultural Triangle’ via an Elephant Orphanage, an institution that was set up to care for orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have died had they been left to their own devices in the wild . If you leave the hotel early, then you should be able to watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies have been milk fed. After lunch, you will leave for the Cultural Triangle and check in at your hotel in Habarana. In the late afternoon, if you wish, we can organize for you a one-hour elephant ride through dry jungle land . Enjoy dinner and have an overnight stay in Habarana.
Today you will explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, once the capital of an advanced and prosperous medieval kingdom. Afterwards return to the hotel for Lunch. After lunch, safari at Minneriya national park, an important wetland park supporting many aquatic birds and about 300 wild elephants. Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and leave to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO World Heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the incredible spectacular views at the summit.
Afterwards, travel to Kandy, another fascinating and historically important Sri Lankan city . Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Kandy.
After breakfast, today we will travel to the tea-growing hill area, and to get there, we will drive through the mountains where you will have the opportunity to gaze at the magnificent vistas. En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a tea factory, processing the very popular and famous Sri Lankan Tea.

Today after breakfast you will explore “Little England” a tour with an opportunity to walk around the streets of this interesting and historical town. We will also visit the Hakgala botanical gardens. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, we will travel to Uda Walawe, one of the islands most popular wildlife parks, particularly for elephants and birds. After the Safari at Uda Walawe Park we will leave to travel to Yala, another popular National Park which is situated in the southeast corner of the island. Dinner and have an overnight stay in Yala.
After breakfast you will check out from the hotel and we will drive up Sri Lanka’s west coast, perhaps stopping in Galle Fort for a walk on the ramparts and a cup of coffee, on your way back to Bentota. Late afternoon, you will check in to one of the most popular beach resorts on the Sri Lankan ‘Golden Stretch of Beaches’.
